NEW TOXIN-FREE MINERAL MAKEUP
Well, Wikaniko used to have Nvey makeup but now they have developed their very own mineral makeup. There's a pretty decent range and I've heard tell that there's still more to come.
Now I'm not that young so although I'd heard of mineral make up I was quite used to a liquid foundation and didn't really want to change as I didn't see the point actually. However, I watched a couple of uploads on Youtube to see what you're supposed to do and the best way to apply it and actually, the foundation's a lot easier and a lot less messy than the liquid stuff. This video is talking about Bare Minerals but the application for KBK is the same.
It's a different way of doing things but you know when you're trawling round the shops and you notice someone go past with a really lovely complexion - not a flaw - looks really natural but just perfect? Well, that's mineral foundation.
This stuff is great. You can apply it dry for normal coverage or wet to get a greater cover for those annoying little spots. They do have yellow and green corrector for thread veins or blemishes you want to hide and you apply this before the concealer. Great for those ladies of a certain age (like me) who have the black circles under their eyes - though no fault of their own I might add. It's not from too many nights on the tiles - honest! Oh yes! I nearly forgot, there's also a couple of bronzers. Lovely! They also do a Kabuki Brush which you really need to apply the makeup properly. Well worth the investment. It'll last you for years.
For nights out or if you just like your makeup, they have loads of colours of eyeshadow and lipstick. The lipstick is made from Shea butter and Jojoba oil and contain vitamin E. There are no chemicals, toxic preservatives or dyes. They even packaged them in bamboo - nice on Wikaniko!
Eye Shadow - Fuchsia Lipstick - Crushed Raspberry
They have also brought out a small range of water-based nail varnish.
They only have a few colours at the moment but hopefully they'll add to
that soon. It's not cheap at £7 but a little goes a long way and it's not anywhere like the dearest and at
least you're not knocked out by the fumes when you take the top off! Conventional nail polishes contain around 70% chemical solvents, they are highly flammable and explosive! not good!
Oh yes! I nearly missed out the lip gloss and lip crayons. So basically, they've got the whole range. If you speak to your distributor I'm sure they'll lend you a DVD on how to apply the makeup which is really helpful if you've never used it before.
10/10 Wikaniko. Brilliant range. I love it!
