The Astonish Range

Yes Wikaniko have now got the Astonish range of products - 24 in all! Wow! I didn't know they had anything like that. I'd only heard of the Oven Cleaner, but they've got everything from car cleaners (alloys and trims and insect and tar remover) as well as floor cleaners, disinfectant and bathroom and kitchen cleaners AND all kind to the environment too.

I got some in my order today and was really surprised at the size of the bottle. At 750ml I think it's really good value. Most of these cleaners usually come in 500ml bottles I'm sure. Do correct me if I'm wrong.  Anyway, all the Astonsh cleaners are the same price - £1.99. Pretty good price I think for what you're getting - environmentally friendly and people friendly and a lot better than the usual smelly chemicals that choke you and make your hands dry out!

Astonish is a family run business which has been on the go for over 35 years. Everything is manufactured here in the UK too, which is nice to know. It even tries to get UK based suppliers for it's materials and packaging. 

What I like about them is that none of the products have been tested on animals and they con't contain any ingredients from animals either. They won't even use a supplier who tests on animals. 

All Astonish products are environmentally friendly so they fit in really well with Wikaniko. But are they any good? Well I'm going to have a go with some of them and I'll let you know. Meantime here's the official video.

Wikaniko have told us that Astonish are always trying to reduce the value and improve the efficiency of their products and that their Non Bio Laundry Liquid has been improved and now gives 26 loads as opposed to the 14 it used to do. Great - execpt Wikaniko don't stock the Laundry Liquid!!!! It is nice to know that they're trying to improve though and they're thinking about the environment. Maybe Wikaniko will think about stocking it in the future. At the moment they only stock the BioD laundry liquid and conditioner. Personally I'd like a choice though!

All their packaging is fully recyclable which is really good because often you'll get a really good product and find that it's packaged in a load of plastic you can't recycle!

I'll update this post when I've had a chance to really try some of this range out. I'll let you know the best ones.
